What is the difference between Block Class A Shares and Block CDIs?

Block Class A Shares are shares of our Class A common stock. They are listed and traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in US dollars.

A Block CDI has rights that are economically equivalent to the rights attaching to a Block Class A Share. The CDIs are listed and traded on the ASX in Australian dollars.

Please see Understanding CHESS Depositary Interests for more information on CDIs, how they operate and entitlements given to CDI holders.

How do I trade my CDIs?

CDIs can be sold and purchased in a similar way to any other ASX security. We recommend seeking advice from your broker with regard to selling or purchasing CDIs as CHESS Depositary Nominees Pty Ltd will need to be informed of the change in beneficial ownership of the CDIs.

What is the process to convert my CDIs to Block Class A Shares?

If you wish to convert your CDIs to Block Class A Shares you should contact Computershare Australia or your broker depending on whether your CDIs are held on the issuer sponsored subregister or the CHESS subregister. The process will require having the CDI cancelled in Australia by submitting a valid CDI cancellation form (either by you or your broker).
